Kady Jo Jackson was on as Nessa tonight!!!
In act one i really loved her!she played Nessa a lot younger then KRJ adn you could tell with her that she genuinely felt bad when people were teasing her sister adn really admired her, and teh sheer delight on her face in DTL was soo good!
However, in the second half she tended to have a split personality, switching from complete anger to complete helplessness to sudeenly which made it look schitzophroenic. However,the bits she DID get right were REALLY good!!! her singing wasn't that stron but when she was looking to Elphaba for help/comfort, it was like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!
and im sureitll just take a bit more practice adn she'll get it perfect!it was great!
at the mo, she is my fave act 1 Nessa while KRJ is my fave in act 2cz she nails WWOTE!
anyway.review time......

NOMTW:
Loved Dianne in this, you can really see the different emotions cross her face as Glinda triesto hide her gref, she hit the notes perfectly

DOS: same as usual, Dianne's face was hilarous when she saw Elphaba for the first time.

BLOOPER: THE WHEELCHAIR DDINT MOVE!! it kind of stood there adn smoked lots, then Susie went to move it and it kind of shuddered lol it was so funny, then Kerry had to go fetch teh chair!

TWAI:
Kerry didnt do her riffs HOWEVER, her voice sounded very fresh and well rested!!yay

WITF:Not the best i've seen but still bloody funny! there were no zombie arms but extra p*** taking of Dianne's voice/traits and extra taunting from both sides lol.Di didnt scream 'detestation' which upset meeee waaa.but the audience wasnt really responsive so i dont think the actors were really that energised

DTL: WOO Olli's riffs were spot on as usual!!KJ was great and so sweet and really upped James' game! he was good
SB:Normal

P: Dianne was Hilarious as usual and almost knocked Kerry off teh bed lots lol, she wasnt as hyper as usual but thatsbecause of teh audience i think but she was stillso funny with her little leg spasms!

INTG: Kerry was so good in this tonight, a lot more emotionally involved than usual!!tho wen Fiyero aw elphie under the bridge she almost said 'S***' hahaha

thurs night
full cast except andy as the wizard and hayden as dillamond.
really good solid performance but i was with parents so couldnt cheer that much...audience was quiiite lively but nothing like a sat which im used to! nothing really went wrong.

NOMTW: dianne was really strong and held her notes! wonderful mark dancing which i missed ALOT last time i went! I love you

nice long wiicked at the end for long time which i looovee.

DOS: could hear kerry really well which i dont normally!

WAI: no riffs but the usual strong kerry amazingness and cute laughing after when everyone cheered! yay!

WITF: really funny as usual..zombie arms etc. i just LOVE it when dianne does her little dance at the front and kerry bumps her off triumphantly...so funny! Laughing

SB: noraml...hayden was good..

DTL: oli and his riffs. Shocked

Popular: hilarious as usual..love dianne!

INTG: lovely and echoey...really good from kerry actually. loved it.

OSD: love the pose from dianne and kerry when they have their photo! and as usual the weird the wizard will see you now!

SM: yeah..get on with DG!!!!

DG: amazing...really strong bring me downs. kerry did a riff on 'rules of someone else's game'..all on diff notes to OCR!! never heard her do that b4!! slightly longer 'mee' than normal which i liked.. i prefered it when she did it longer.. and amazing long awwoaahh but not as long as the 11 second one which killed me...

TG: amazing 'bridges you crossed...' from dianne! and now ive noticed she stays on the same note at the end instead of going up an octave which i dont mind cos she does sound stronger when she stays.

Wonderful: good from andy! but i think i prefer him as dillamond slightly but i still thought he was really good and better than when i saw him as the wizard last time.

INTG reprise: i love dianne when she does this..she just looks sooo cute!! and she always does the really strong girl which blends into ALAYM really well ...loove it!

ALAYM: not the best but still obviously incred cos of oli and kerry!! quite alot of thigh groping from oli! and less smoke..last time it killed us in the front row and you couldnt see them.

catfight scene: really funny until when oli swung in on his rope i was all ready to cheer etc. but there wasn't a cheer

which im used to from saturdays...was a laugh though but not enough to make oi laugh or any of the cast which i missed!!

NGD: kerry really can not do a bad performance of this..always incred especially with the realaallyyyy long riff at the end but she just did the quite long one.

MOTWH: actually grown on me alot. loud and yeeaahh..

FG: antoher babes performance from kerry and dianne with not as much laughing as usual which i quite liked but no cute hat touch thing from dianne

Finale: love the finale apart from it means it's ended!!

long wicked at the end and LOVE the cute hair stroking from oli when him and kerry freeze. nice 'because i knew you' from dianne!

yeah never reviewed b4 and i know ive forgotten some stuff but yeah....
